Back At It

Well, here we are, right back at the old grind in this new year.  I wonder how many of us have already forgotten or discarded our "resolutions".  The trouble is that resolutions are merely statements of hopes, wishes or dreams of what could be.  The trick is figuring out how to make those hopes, wishes or dreams come true.

Here's the secret:  Hard Work.  Yep, you got it, constant and vigilant work toward the outcome you want.

Yes, I've heard this many times too.  What does it really mean.  It's simple and difficult at the same time.  Simple because the actions you have to take are already ones that you know and understand.  Difficult because in order to be in action toward that which you want you need to have a crystal clear vision of it.

So, try this excersize.  Think about about just one thing that you "resolved" this year.  Making more money, losing weight, finding love, etc. just pick any one.  Now go sit in a quite spot wear you won't be interupted for 10 minutes.  Visualize every aspect of that resolution.  If it happened how would you feel physically and emotionally.  How would your life be different?  Just concentrate on that one thing for 10 minutes.  I KNOW!  Easier said than done. 

I encourage you to do this 4-5 times a week and as you get better at it you can add more to it.  But just START.  Every journey starts with the first step so take yours today!  Good Luck!
